FC Barcelona continues the cooperation with shirt sponsor UNICEF

The UNICEF-logo will be on the official shirt of FC Barcelona till the end of the season. But the UNICEF-logo will be at the back of the football players. The logo will be under the name of the footballer. FC Barcelona supported UNICEF for the last five years to improve a hundred thousand lives of children and gave UNICEF worldwide awareness.  The next phase of cooperation , who still needs a design, is directed to the social side of the football club to support a global movement for education and sport, who gives tangible results for children.

UNICEF and FC Barcelona looking forward to a groundbreaking relationship, and take it to the next level and to improve the lives of vulnerable children around the world. In June will be the details of this collaboration announced.

FC Barcelona supports UNICEF for 1.5 million euro a year, and automatically has the right to depict the emblem of UNICEF on the football shirt and training clothing.

This cooperation is related to marketing, you can see it as a form of Public Relations. UNICEF and FC Barcelona both want to cultivate awareness.
