Volkswagen and the KNVB renew their sponsorship.

Volkswagen and the Koninklijke Nederlandse Voetbalbond (KNVB) in Zeist have extended their cooperation to the World Cup in 2014. In the context of the new contract is Volkswagen again the Official Car Supplier of the national football association. It is supplying more than 70 Volkswagen cars.

Volkswagen is since 2007 Official Car Supplier of the KNVB. The new contract with Volkswagen remains the main supplier. That means that over seventy KNVB staff a new Volkswagen riding. These items are used cars by Volkswagen Leasing. The new agreement between the KNVB and Volkswagen was officially confirmed in Zeist.

Volkswagen designed a new type of app to optimize the mobility in amateur football. There will be a new navigation system with all football clubs in Holland. The KNVB is very satisfied with the extension of cooperation with Volkswagen.

All amateur footballers of the Netherlands (and parents) benefit from the agreement between the KNVB and Volkswagen. Volkswagen created the downloadable application for iPhone and Android. It makes it possible to quickly and efficiently navigate to your away games. There also is a team chat available. The team chat makes it possible to stay in contact with each other. In short: Assist Team is useful an instrument for millions of amateur footballers.

This cooperation between Volkswagen and the KNVB is a very good marketing public relation action. The KNVB is going to promote Volkswagen and vice versa.
